Health & Safety Policy

The Company regards the promotion of Health and Safety measures as an objective for Management, and considers it a major responsibility. It is therefore strict Company Policy, so dictated by practical, reasonable limitations, to provide and maintain a safe working environment that is without any health risks to the employees, and with adequate welfare facilities for all Company employees. To this end, the Company will provide advice as deemed necessary, to all members of Management enabling them to meet their requisite Health and Safety responsibilities, strictly in accordance to the current Regulatory Requirements. Risk assessments will be carried out and recorded in areas where hazards might exist.

The Management of the Company offers its full support and backing to this Policy and encourages its employees to abide by it. Everyone with supervisory responsibilities should study this policy and encourage their subordinates to also read it. All staff members are reminded that it is a criminal offence to recklessly misuse and interfere with anything provided for the common interest of Health, Safety, and Welfare.

The Company stresses its commitment to Health and Safety of all employees, to the extent that, where willful disregard by any employee for safe working practices will result in placing at risk the Health and Safety of themselves or any other employee, this act will be considered as gross misconduct, leading to the severest of disciplinary actions. A copy of the General Statement will be issued to all employees and a copy of the full Health and Safety policy is kept in the Safety Officer’s office. This policy statement may be revised, added or modified from time to time and will be supplemented, where appropriate, by codes of practice, guidance notes and standards. Changes will be brought to the individual attention of the relevant personnel.
